Molded Gratings are designed in one piece, woven with fibreglass that is treated with the matrix of unsaturated resins. in one piece in a whole mould. All the relevant hardware fixtures like bolts, clamps and many others are supplied with these gratings for ease of installation. Available in a standard size of 1-meter x 2 meters, the other dimensions and thickness of the grating can be customized based on the load-bearing capacity.

In comparison to moulded forms, the pultruded FRP gratings are designed with open space. Specially designed with I or T shaped bearing bars, the solid grooved rods, and notch barsare pultruded and interlocked to form the grating. There is isophthalic / vinyl ester in the resin system that exhibits FR or non-FR properties in the grating. Capable of sustaining relevant loads, the customization in the designing of pultruded I or T- section profiles is done as per the existing condition. The wise choice is made in the case of resin and other additives or retardants prior to use in the manufacturing that is based on the requirements of applications and site conditions.
